Building on the success of last year’s Bowling On Grass, the world’s first cannabis-friendly lawn bowling tournament, The Doobie Family are proud to host this year’s tournament, “More Grass,” on Saturday, September 14th, at the Roselawn Bowling Club in Owen Sound, Ontario. The focus is the same as the last - coming together to celebrate community while enjoying some cannabis, some camaraderie and a little friendly competition.   The format is a little different. This year’s tournament will begin at 3 pm with 2 separate divisions: “The Bowl Smokers” for beginning players and players who are more interested in the social aspects of the day “The Bowl Throwers” for experienced players who are looking for a little more competition.

The divisions will alternate play throughout the day leading to “The Lit Final” where the top 2 teams from “The Bowl Throwers” will play for the championship under the lights while our DJ sets the mood. The championship will be followed by the Awards Ceremony and after party in the clubhouse before our DJ closes the evening at 11pm. Between games, players will have time to socialize, enjoy a provided supper, take part in other challenges and cheer on games. Interested in taking part? Enter or be part of a team. If you have a group of 4, you can enter your own team. If there is 1, 2 or 3 of you, we can help fill out your team. “Bowl Smokers” - $240/team or $60/person “Bowl Throwers” - $300/team (the extra $60 goes into the prize pot) Be a Sponsor - Signage is available for those who would like to purchase space.
