Back to School season can bring a lot of stress for kids, teens, and their families. To help ease this transition, the Canadian Mental Health Association Grey Bruce Mental Health and Recovery Services (CMHAGB) is hosting a fun-filled event that combines resources with engaging activities. Under the pavilion, families can enjoy a variety of activities such as coloring, a scavenger hunt, bracelet making, and a workshop by Home Depot. Surrounding the pavilion, numerous local service providers, including Public Health, the Owen Sound and North Grey Union Public Library, and Keystone Child, Youth and Family Services, will be available to share information and resources. Each family will receive a bag to collect materials from the booths, and there will also be a lunchtime BBQ and cupcakes to enjoy. Plus, every family will have a chance to win a door prize. The highlight of the day will be the delightful goodbye Teddy Bear Parade. A special thanks goes to Meridian for their generous sponsorship of this event.
