STAINED GLASS ORNAMENT JAM - INTRODUCTORY
Have you ever seen the amazing race? ... well this class is like that but with stained glass! You are encouraged to make as many ornaments as you can during this class, work hard, work fast and you could cover your tree with handmade stained glass ornaments this Christmas. Our one day course will teach you how to score and break glass, use a grinder, follow a pattern, apply copper foil, heat solder, patina and polish. Using our collection of scrap glass and 2 to 3 piece patterns (we will have lots of patterns to choose from), you are welcome to make as many ornaments as you can! All glass, materials and the use of hand tools are included. Closed toe shoes, safety glasses, and a sense of humour are mandatory. You may bring your own safety glasses or they are available for purchase for $5 each. If you have an old pair of nicely fitting leather or heat resistant gloves, they will be useful, but not essential. All materials, hand tools, and equipment are included.
