Have you ever wondered what's behind the scenes at a museum? Many people don't realize that our collections go far beyond what we have on display. Come to the Community Waterfront Heritage Centre on October 26th for "Out of the Collection" to see pieces from our collection that have never been on display before! Drop in from 1:00 pm-4:00 pm to see a selection of artifacts, photos, maps, and more pulled from storage to discover the hidden gems of the CWHC. As our curator tells you about the history behind each item, you'll also learn about how we pick pieces for exhibits, how we handle storage of difficult items, and much more! "Out of the Collection" is included with admission to the museum. Admission for seniors (55+) will be free for October 26th as part of our SPECS program.
