YOUR TUTOR
Jacquie Sullivan
Jacquie creates hand-printed linocut, woodcut and letterpress prints, greeting cards and block-printed textiles out of her home studio in Whitby, Ontario. She is drawn to the careful process of printmaking as the vehicle for sharing the awe she feels in nature and to express her love of travel and language. She enjoys the challenge of working in reverse and the many options for variations and combining techniques when making her prints. With her work, Jacquie strives to highlight an appreciation for the beauty in the details with the hope of encouraging others to slow down, reconnect with themselves, and more fully appreciate the world around them too.
