Learn to make retro-style resin-dip flowers that shine like gems. Students will use base metal wires to form petal and leaf shapes to create an everlasting bouquet. The wire frames will be dipped in a special resin material and then be further decorated using transparent colours of UV curing resin or mica powders to create an effect similar to stained glass. Students should feel comfortable bending wire and using simple hand tools like pliers, but everyone is welcome. Students will be expected to wear gloves to protect their skin from the UV curing resin.
