8th Annual Christmas Craft and Vendor Show at East Ridge Community School. Saturday November 16, 2024 from 9 am to 3 pm. Located at 1550 8th Street East in Owen Sound. Over 70 crafters and vendors to shop from. Free admission, donations to our fundraising efforts are gladly accepted. This is a fundraiser for the continuation of our 172nd Sydenham Fall Fair. The fall fair is funded through fundraising and generous community member donations. We receive no financial support from the school board or government supports. The Sydenham Fall fair began in 1853 as a school based fall fair for the students living and attending school in the former Sydenham township. The tradition continues when the larger Sydenham Community school was built and now the traditional continues in the our new larger home, 2 doors down at East Ridge Community School. The fall fair is believed to be the last remaining school based fall fair in Canada. All of our students attend the fall fair, they love it and look forward to it each year. Through our fundraising we are able to support and host this wonderful agricultural learning event for our students.
