The demand on food banks in Grey & Bruce has never been higher than it is now, 560 CFOS is proud to partner with the Salvation Army to help our community in this way. To help support those who are supporting those in need, 560 CFOS is partnering with the Salvation Army to for the 2nd Annual Community-Wide Food Drive on Friday, December 6th. Join 560 CFOS as we broadcast live from Zehrs in Owen Sound, Friday December 6th from 6am until 6pm. You’ll find volunteers from the Salvation Army, CFOS, and our sister stations Mix 106.5 and Country 93 at No Frills, Foodland, Metro, and Food Basics throughout the day as well! Wherever you do your shopping, we hope you’ll choose to support us with a donation of non-perishable food items, or a monetary donation of any amount, at any of those locations. Pre-made bags that contain some of the essential items most-needed by the Food Bank will also be available for purchase at each store. If you can’t make it to a grocery story on December 6th, you can also make a monetary donation by calling 519-376-7777 between 9am and 5pm. Special operators will be standing by to take your donation, and if you would like to include a dedication with your donation, we’ll do our best to get it read on the air as well. NEW THIS YEAR - Corporate Challenge Gather your co-workers to collect non-perishable products. Bring your donations to Zehrs Owen Sound on Friday December 6th between 6am - 6pm. We'll have prizes for the business that brings the most donations including lunch for up to 15 people at Bishop's Landing Restaurant and Lounge AND a $1,000 Gift Certificate for advertising on 560 CFOS!
